I jump on my bike and pedal my way out of the hostel. I’m heading to the downtown area of Tom Coc. It’s about a 20 minute bike ride and I’ve got a basket on the bicycle to hold my sculpture in. It’s my second sculpture to be hung in Tom Coc and it’s going three windows down from the first. The wind is cool on my face and soft on my hair. It feels great. The smile on my face is contagious. I park my bike and get my brad nail tool out of my bag. Click is the sound the battery makes as I snap it into place. I place the sculpture perfectly on the background. Klack. Klack. Klack. Klack. I step back and do my Charlie Brown dance. The sculpture fits perfectly. An old man looks at me. His smile is contagious. The two sculptures are in harmony. Together on the same building. Both watching the Tom Coc community’s days go bye.
