Vientian
Vientian is the canvas and after leaving Vietnam to visit here this town feels like a ghost town. The streets are talking to me. The materials are surrounding me. The Thai BBQ is here. (my favorite) The day has come and I’ve found a pile of wood on the street that now sits in front of me. Two sculptures are created. Antonia carries one and I carry the other. What a first site specific spot! A closed down hotel on the main road. The tool comes out of the bag, the sculpture is placed. Klack. Perfect. Off to find the next spot. Boom. The location is sweet.
